State & Federal Programs

Title I, Part A is a federal program designed “to provide all children significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, and high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps.” Title I, Part A can support students receiving early learning services and in kindergarten through Grade 12.

These programs and services provide customized instruction and curricula that helps students meet academic standards and take an active, engaged interest in what they learn and can do. Title I, Part A programs build equity of opportunity for children whose struggles often keep them on the academic sidelines.

The Learning Assistance Program (LAP)  serve students needing support for reading, writing, and math, or help graduating from high school.  Our schools use state LAP dollars to provide additional services to students so they can be successful in the classroom.

The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is available through the Early Learning Center to qualifying families.

Services for our bilingual and transitional students are provided through our English Language Learner program.

Information on how students can receive support and resources when in unstable or transitional housing arrangements is available through Homeless & Unaccompanied Youth Services.
